A note from Nancy,

I have been an artist most of my life. At the age of 13, I wallpapered my walls with sketches so my Aunt Yerba couldn’t miss them (she’s a fantastic artist and a wonderful mentor). Afterwards, she took me shopping for all the art supplies a girl could handle. I spent the rest of that summer playing in charcoal and painting! I was fortunate enough to have additional-artist- influences through out my life-one of my favorite teachers taught me that it’s -OK- to wear fascinating jewelry and clothes that make you happy! My parents were also always very supportive of my arts-staying involved with every step of my career. Both artists in there own right. As I developed my skills, I felt blessed to have had the opportunity to meet and be inspired by one of my most favorite artists-Bob Ross. And in the same breath I must mention Annette Kowalski-What A Team! All the television artists have a special place in my heart. After having done a few shows myself, my admiration grew with a new respect!

I have traveled great distance to teach workshops. Always being received with open arms and lots of hugs. Yes, my students have been a great support and an endless inspiration to me. I now have my own studio where I hold local classes and three-day workshops. It’s a lifelong dream come true for me. A dream I couldn’t realize without the support of my husband and family.

Bob Ross once told me "Just do what you love and the rest will follow!" What great advice!
